Got these because my household disagrees on Christmas light colors, and it does that job very well. The colors are bright across the spectrum, the app is easy to use, there's nothing really bad to say about it functionally.

I did not expect it would be this much fun to be able to put together animations, patterns, and change the entire behavior of the lights. It's a legit game for our 4 year old, and I find myself making DIY patterns for fun. I wish we had more christmas trees to decorate now.

Had an issue mapping the tree. Unsure if it was user error or firmware/software issue. Working now. Hope to see more Christmas scenes created. Great that version 2 now has a green string. Had Twinkly lights before, which quit working after one season of use. Hope these last longer. Govee much easier to map the lights.

Very modern design, with easy controls and even advanced controls when controlling it with the Govee app. Another great feature is that you're able to use your Amazon Alexa to control it; without needing a smart plug.Quality build, most of it is made out of metal, while the bottom is a kind of hard plastic. Definitely will last you.Now the brightness i think is perfect. It gets really dark and also bright, but not too bright; perfect for a bedside lamp/night light. Also looks really cool because of the lights on the bottom side are lighter than the top side, (as shown in the photo I've provided.) Gives it a glow effect, kinda looks like a lava lamp. Definitely stands out in a room.All around a great lamp. Heard a lot about the price being a little high but I think it's fair for all that you're getting.

This light, like a few of the other products I've bought from Govee is absolutely outstanding. It looks cool, the app is great, it works with smart devices like Google and Alexa. Don't expect it to bathe the room in 3000 lumens of brightness, because it is an accent light not a reading lamp or anything else. But if you already have some lighting (I have some Govee strip lights on my desk (pictured)) then this will add a fun and stylist splash of color.I especially like the animations you can call up from the app. Trying to animate with with a famous expensive big brand company, is clunky as you can imagine. Yet this far cheaper alternative has it down. Just very impressive and great value.So far every product I have purchased from this company has punched way above its price point, and made me very happy. At this point if I want any kind LED RGB light, I look at Govee first.
