The air purifier appears to be doing a good job of filtering contaminants from the air. The only downside is with the Alexa enabled skill that requires launching Guardian Technology skill prior to giving command to change settings. I would give this unit 5 stars if you could immediately ask Alexa to change fan speed of bedroom air purifier from 1-5 or auto fan speed without involving launch of skill. This is probably due to the inability to install this air purifier within the Alexa App. I spoke with a member of technical support and they were unable to assist in setting up this device within the Alexa App. Guardian Technologies does not appear in the list of air purifier’s when attempting to setup this device. Guardian Technologies brand is affiliated in someway with Lasko which does appear in the list, but also does not recognize the device. When selecting other and the “Bluetooth or WiFi” options again the device is not recognized. I would suggest that Guardian work on ease of device installation for customers that wish to use voice activated controls utilizing Alexa, Google,or Apple Home to control device. Install a QR code on the box or on a card with quick setup instructions.

The GermGuardian WiFi/Bluetooth enabled air purifier is the best system I own! Having multiple units placed throughout my house, the WiFi connectivity allows me to control them from anywhere, which is incredibly convenient. With the purchase of the unit it would be nice if it automatically came with 2nd set of filters free. This unit is 1/2 the price of a dyson, which I also own. I give it 4 stars on price.
4 stars, on the WiFi, to app keeps loosing connection.
However the unit it self is great. The operations of the unit is a 5 star.
Back in December I went to change my furnace filter and I noticed that it was black I’ve never had this problem before I freaked out went out and purchased three carbon monoxide detectors and new filters For the furnace & the air purifiers in the house. I also had a heating and air-conditioning technician come out and check my furnace on an emergency call to make sure that there wasn’t something going wrong we after doing much testing a research over a period of 10 days and around 400 dollars later, discover that the candles that I purchased from Bath and body Works was giving off black suit and it was causing the filters to turn black as soon as I quit burning the candles the filters were staying clean. The Germguardian (kids call it Germ genie) automatically sense the air quality and adjust accordingly the fan speed to filter the air clean again. if you are cooking in the kitchen and air quality changes my Germguardian is after the job filtering the air clean again without any manual adjustments.

I'm very disappointed with them 2 high standards Air purifier I purchased each costing 200.00. I can never find the filters used for this type, I see the machine at the store but not the fliters. The filters are very expensive as well and I don't feel they do a good job at all I suffer with sinus and ear infectios, I purchased 2 of the highest standards, change of the filters I have 500 sq feet living so why I'm I getting sinus effecting and I'm running both units nonstop? Before i would run the UV and you could really smell how nice and clean dust free the air was.. Now it's back to smelling gross energy in the air. Also these units are very loud!! And the indacter light is not working in either unit! I downloaded the app and tried the Bluetooth controller sense I'm disabled this could help allot. I was unable to use the app and the blue tooth!! I'm VERY DISAPPOINTED AND I WOULD LIKE TO RETURN BOTH UNITS! I would like new units sent out to replace these expenses fliters right away, my sinus are in need. With all do respect these filters are not worth 200.00 and the filters 40.00 each, don't bother downloading the app your wasting your time. I want my money back and defferant filter systems as compensation.
