April 6, 2024This shirt had the potential to dominate the market but instead is basically unwearable. The quality is top notch compared to all these garbage Gildan, alstyle/American apparel, etc shirts on here. They are consistent in size and sewing. The collars are really nice and dense, wide, and close to the neck. Sadly, this is where the positives end. They decided to take an amazing shirt and give it the worst cut possible. It's so narrow and long, it fits like those dumb tall Ts losers used to wear in the 90s/00s. It's not AT ALL oversized even if the description says so. It's a straight lie. I wear true medium, and ideally a medium in a true oversized fit, or a large when trying to fake an oversized look. This medium fits so tight in the body with huge sleeves. Sizing up to large makes it less tight but then it's crazy long for it's width. If it was wider, the length would be ok as it would look relaxed and more oversized. Instead it's just slightly relaxed but looks like a narrow dress. I folded up 3" from the bottom and it looks PERFECT. It doesn't look like a casual streetwear shirt, it looks like a classy, high end shirt you could wear in a formal setting. It could've been so perfect if it was just 3" shorter. I even washed and dried to try to shrink it. I'm considering getting a couple tailored just because they would be such nice shirts to have and returning the rest. I gave it 3 stars because the quality is there, it's just the god awful fit. If you're super tall and scrawny like the model, then it might work for you. Oversize, enjoy sizing up to get a barely relaxed body with extreme length and wide sleeves.
Picture shows an XL used as a Large. Good quality, but not oversized and Shrinks

April 9, 2024First time buying Shaka wear and was really excited to finally find over sized T’s in the American market. I was expecting a logo like it shows on the model of the item, but that’s not exactly how it appeared. Let’s start with the Pros. The shirts are great quality and have a very nice look especially with a thick crew neck. They aLao have a good amount of color options for this type of style. The cons. Unfortunately, it’s basically a better quality Gildan shirt. The shirt are definitely a bit longer on the sleeve compared to others and the collar is really nice and thick. But if you’re looking for oversized this is not it. I tried both mediums and large. For you to get a medium oversized fit you’d have to get a Large and to get a large an XL and so on. But that’s not all, once you go up a size and wash it it will shrink up, so it will look more like a larger shirt not oversized look. Also, the tags are not removable if that is what some of you are worried about, I cut it off but you can still see a bit of the strings and stitching of the tags. I feel really bad giving this a bad review but their advertised look is definitely not what you will get and I can only be honest. I will try their even longer baggy shirts when they become available on Jiffy.

April 18, 2024The Shaka Wear tshirts are a great option for basics. While shaka promotes all these articles as dyed; some are not. The only ones that you can tell are dyed and have a vintage look are the blue and clay red. The other colors have not the same fabric treatment; however the color is as seen on photos.Good sizes; great fit; nice labeling. I dont recommend the blue and red tees to be used with DTG printing.
A bit longer than you might want...

April 6, 2024Using the shirts for my brand but shirts definitely have a weird cut/sizing to them. Drop extremely far as said in at least one other review but the shirt fits more like a shirt dress than an actual t-shirt. Have not washed or printed on them yet so can not speak on that but hopefully they will hold up after that. Kind of disappointing because the shirts are heavy and the material feels good in quality. Despite that will likely crop these ones and just use a different model of shirt next time.
