Works amazing for my asthmatic cat!
Carina· Review provided by blueair.com · May 26, 2023
My cat is asthmatic and I noticed his litter box especially aggregates his asthma, so I bought this purifier to keep the bathroom air clean for him. I used to have a Dyson purifier in there, but I was recommended Blueair so decided to try out the dust magnet model. I ended up loving the Blueair purifier sooo much more! Whenever my cats use the litter box, or when I’m cleaning up, the purifier LED lights up red and increases the fan speed to clean up the dirty air (using the auto setting). I love the light indicator (and the air quality graph on the app) because it reassures me that the purifier is working exactly when I expect it to. The app is easy to use and works great; because it’s on Wi-Fi, I can turn the power on/off, adjust the settings, or check the air quality while at work. My cat is noticeably doing so much better. I am very satisfied and will probably get more Blueair purifiers for other rooms in the house.
Quiet and great air purifier

This air purifier is quiet (as all of the BlueAir purifiers are). I have it our bedroom where when we are at work 4 dogs like to hang out. Our room always smelled like dog and we always have dog hair everywhere. This purifier is a game changer. It has eliminated the dog odor and there is less hair and dust. I have black nightstands which shows everything and I have noticed a huge improvement on dust. Prior to putting the purifier in our room I did a major cleaning. Since adding the purifier there has not been any odor. Very happy with this purchase.!
Liked it so much, I bought a second one

Bought one of these on sale and set it up, and liked it so much that I immediately bought a second one. Setup with the app was simple and I was controlling the unit from my iPhone almost immediately. Was able to set up a schedule to turn it up/down as needed. We have one in the bedroom that is schedule to run at high speed throughout the night. Perfect amount of white noise for sleeping. Can even control it with HomeKit by asking Siri to turn it up/down on/off.

As far as dust removal, really too soon to tell, and that’s a hard thing to gauge. But it has to do a better job than nothing at all. The LED does change colors to indicate a change in air quality when we are cooking or when the humidifier is running. So it’s good to know that it is monitoring things.

I did make one aesthetic improvement to the unit. I wrapped the legs in walnut wood contact paper. The gray plastic looked a bit cheap. The wood legs look so much better. Might do the top next!
Go for Electrolux instead

Don't buy it, at least if you live in Sweden. I've had it for about a year and sure it worked ok (besides that WiFi connection just got glitches until I gave up) but the filters are expensive and the bs that there are several shops selling it just isn't correct. The only site selling it in Sweden charges a fourth of the price I would pay for the whole machine. I regret buying, should have gone for Electrolux, better and more available.
