June 19, 2024This is my first e-bike. I’ve put around 100 miles so far. Great feel between analog bike and Electric. I’m very impressed at this bike for the price point.
Pros: easy to put together out of the box, pretty lightweight, simple and functional layout of controls, well balanced, comfortable riding position, decent range, great aesthetics, front light and brake lights are well incorporated.
Cons: tops out at 20mph. I wish it was just a few mph above 20. I’m guessing that optimizes battery life. I wish a second battery was a bit cheaper. The brakes leave a bit to be desired. Also if you ran out of battery with a significant ride in front of you, it would be a trek!
Overall, I am extremely happy with this bike. I have ridden all types of bikes, including exclusively bike commuting for 6 years while in college. I am able to ride about 20 miles to work, at about 900 ft total elevation gain(coastal city with quick up/down grades). It leaves me with almost exactly 50% battery each way. I’m 6’0 -180lbs and bought a large frame. Overall, an excellent bike for the price point. Going to get one for my wife soon. Well done Aventon!
80 miles so far and it has been a blast!

October 2, 202459 year old (kinda) fit guy who always owned a bike but rarely has been on a bike these past 20 years or so.
First, spent $999 on the bike. But, expect to spend another $500/$1,000 on gear.....rear rack, rear rack bag, repair kit/tools/pump, Kuhl dri fit 1/4 zip, glasses, phone holder, fenders, etc....
As for the bike.......it is a blast! I am getting out and loving it. Sometimes I will try to plot out a new place to get to. Sometimes I will just go across the street to a huge flat office complex with tons of flat paved surfaces all around it.
Whereas before I would sit around and do nothing, now I am getting on the bike for 90 minutes or so 3 or 4 times per week. When I am working remote I get up early and do 5 to 10 miles BEFORE work. I am only going on sidewalks, trails and or low speed streets (35 MPH or slower). If I come to a spot where the sidewalk ends and the speeds are above 35 MPH.....I will turn around. The bike has thin tires so you will have to walk it on trails (But it is still exercise, right ?). On grass or grassy trails with limited rocks, you can ride it no 'blem.
Frankly I am already thinking about my next bike with the thicker tires. Sure the Soltera.2 is only $999 but think about spending more and getting thicker tires if you will be on a lot of trails.
I am only 80 or so miles in and I have heard the hype about these E bikes changing lives.....I am starting to believe it.
PS: Def download and use the app. The mapping technology on the app is very precise and excellent.
Easy to Use!

February 24, 2024I freaking love the Soltera 2.0! It goes so fast and is so easy to use. My husband and I put it together ourselves and it only took about 30 to 45 minutes from start to finish. I love how lightweight it is and how it has incorporated turn signals. My only comment for those looking to purchase is be aware of the recommended heights. My husband and I are both 5’5” and the bike fits perfectly for me, but my husband has a longer torso with shorter legs, so the step though Soltera 2.0 might’ve been a little bit better for him. I know it says the small fits 5’4” and taller; it definitely does, but if you have shorter legs, it might just be a little bit of a stretch when you first get on. The step through may be your best route. He can still ride it though and once he gets going it’s not an issue. We both love the bike and it’s practically a steal for being such a powerful bike for less than $1000. I rode the bike for about 5 miles (a little over a hour) today and when I got back home, it was still at 98% battery! I love how you can write it like a normal bike when you want to and press the button for power when you need it. It’s the perfect e-bike for us!
Love my Soltera.2

September 5, 2024I LOVE my Soltera.2 ebike ! Very comfortable ride, pedal assist makes the ride near effortless & torque sensor synchronizes with your efforts / engages as you need it. The throttle puts effortless riding @ ur fingertips - all electronics are intuitive / very easy to master. Also, regular tires / no fat tires / looks like a trad crossover. Bike construction is beautifully engineered - a symphony of componetry that's also super attractive - aluminum welds are so smooth the frame appears to be composite. It's just a good looking bicycle. The bike comes packed in a container that itself is skillfully engineered for an impressive & simply pleasurable unboxing & assembly. The whole experience was delightful & fun ! Thanks Aventon !
