December 8, 2024This jacket has a flattering shape, lots of stretch, and is comfortable. I'm 5'3" 119 33/26/35 with medium/athletic shoulder with/small chest and a small waist. I like a size 6. A 4 is too tight and stretching over everything. A 6 is perfect; it is close fitting (not tight) at the waist and bottom of the jacket with some stretch across the chest and upper back. the arms are not stretched tight and have some room, and look nice. I would wear it alone with a sports bra. I think a swiftly underneath would get snug in the chest/waist/shoulders on me. If I compare Nulu size 6 to a size 6 in the Luon fabric, this Nulu fits tighter. If I wanted to actually use this as a jacket with a shirt underneath, I'd have to size up, but the fit doesn't look great when I size up (the bottom gets too wide, and the top half of the jacket looks too loose). In lighter colors, this jacket might show things like the line of the sports bra, but in darker colors this isn't noticeable. This fabric is cool to the touch and is a stretchy, smooth (not shiny) fabric. I think it's a really flattering jacket, and it's very comfortable.

November 3, 2024I was initially skeptical of spending so much on one jacket, but after eyeing it for a while, I made the plunge. Wow - it feels luxurious on my skin, the fabric is incredibly high-quality, and it keeps me warmer than I anticipated. There are nice details on the front (the "stitching"? I don't know how to describe it), as well as a slot for your thumb if you're cold. What's neat is that even if you don't use the thumb covering (?), the sleeves look normal and aren't stretched-out, there's no obvious hole, either.
My measurements are 5'10", 125 pounds. I ordered a size 4 and found it body-hugging. If you want a looser fit and have similar proportions, consider sizing up. I was very pleased, though. And, as a tall girl, it was a relief to finally find a jacket that wasn't too short on me or rode up whenever I moved.
Looks great but doesn’t last

January 5, 2025The Nulu Define Jacket is very slimming and flattering. I bought the light pink (“strawberry milkshake”) one for my daughter’s birthday at the end of the summer and she loved it so much that she requested another one for Christmas (a grey-blue one with gold accents). So, why am I only giving three stars to an item that we liked so much that we ended up repurchasing? Because it doesn’t last. Despite us washing the jacket exactly as per the instructions on the tag, the fabric pilled after only a few washes. It also stained very easily. The pictures of the light pink jacket here enclosed are after five months of normal wear. I would not have repurchased it myself, but my daughter loves the look of this jacket so much that in the end the purchase was worth it.
It’s a NO FOR ME!

November 23, 2023I purchased three athletic jackets from the made too much sale. Every single Item was used. Not just used but HEAVILY WORN. As if I were sent clothes from someone’s literal dirty clothes hamper. The threading was coming off, there are stains on the clothes and you can tell someone was actively wearing these items over a period of time. I am so disappointed because this is my first time buying and the experience was genuinely terrible. The clothes are in terrible condition. What I am upset about the most is these items are falsely advertised as being on sale because the company “made too much” as if it were an overproduction of items. However, they are selling used clothes, marketing them as new and selling them final sale! That is truly disgusting!
I took the items into a Lululemon retail store to confirm that I was not exaggerating the issue and the store associate confirmed that the clothes were CLEARLY USED AND WORN. She was even surprised! I am so disappointed I don’t even want new items I would like a full refund. Just to confirm the items I purchased were not from their preloved section (which I didn’t even know about at the time of purchase). They were literally old dirty clothes they retagged and cleverly sold online on final sale! SMH! I never write reviews but this was so crazy!
As far as the quality, I will be honest and say even if they were new there is truly no difference in quality between these and something from Shein. The color range is really nice and attractive, but my first impression prior to realizing the clothes were so bad was the clothes were way thinner than I expected. If you’re looking for better quality athletic wear and not something trendy I would honestly not purchase from them. Now I see why there are a lot of great dupes because the actually quality of the items are basic. All in all this is complete trash.
